Materials Used: Peruvian Walnut Veneer, Curly Maple Veneer, & Solid Hard Maple

Description:  This desk was a commission for a client’s home office.  The maple side panel serves a decorative purpose as well as a functioning as a privacy screen.  Each iteration of the maple screen changes its relation to the face by 5 degrees.  The result is a semi transparent panel that looks different from various vantage points and moves with the eye as one walks past it.
