Materials Used: African Sapele, American Cherry, and American Walnut

Special Features: This mirror combines different cuts of wood laid together at odd angles to produce a unique profile.  The cherry used for the sweeping curve to the walnut trim and beveled mirror is a No. 1 common cherry that is harvested and sold with “defects”.  While some may consider this wood cheap or unattractive I find real beauty in its varied color, gum pockets, and unique knot hole features.  By accenting these so called “defects” the mirror is given a more rustic and natural feel.  This mirror was created to match the Exotic Wood Vanity listed in the photos under “Vanities”.
